It tastes slightly earthy, resinous and has a pronounced sharpness, similar to the well-known Malabar pepper. It is harvested in the Amazon region in Brazil. Belpe pepper is also called jungle pepper. Belem is the name of the Atlantic port through which Brazilian pepper reaches Europe.
Is filled from kiloware and shipped vacuum-packed. When vacuuming, the air is removed from the packaging, then the bag is sealed. Freshness and aroma are retained longer. Decoration is not included. The illustration may differ from the actual appearance of the product.
