50g. Cumin whole cumin.
Cumin cumin is used in all Indian, Arabic and Asian dishes. Cumin is known in Ayurvedic cuisine as one of the ten royal spices that have a positive effect not only on the body, but also on the mind. Cumin not only tastes good in stews and rice dishes, but also with meat and grill dishes, vegetables, yoghurt, couscous or cheese. A spice mixture of cumin and coriander tastes particularly harmonious.
Cumin is grown in India, Iran, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Latin America, China and the southern Mediterranean. The taste is very spicy. It tastes slightly bitter and pungent, without reminiscent of pepper, and exudes a tart, downright earthy scent. The cumin taste is enhanced by cooking or frying, so you should dose carefully.
